Well,
it is something an eye catching offer for someone who wants to own the iphone 5
at early as possible. Came to know from New Delhi that Reliance
Communications (RCom)
is offering for it consumer an EMI offer. It seemed a logical offer for the
price at which apple trades. Presently, Apple is offering 16 GB iPhone 5c at Rs 41,900 whereas 32 GB variant at Rs
53,500. iPhone 5s is available at Rs 53,500 (16GB), Rs 63,500 (32 GB) and Rs
71,500 (64 GB) respectively.
Thought
the figures above look very offensive but Reliance has offered that consumers
can own the 16GB models of iPhone 5S and 5C by paying Rs 2,999 and Rs
2,599 per month, respectively just for 2 years. The deal is further simplified
as RCom is offering 16 GB models at zero down payment.
Earlier it was heard that a customer would have to pay a down payment of Rs
11,600 for 32 GB iPhone 5c, and Rs 10,992 and Rs 19,992 down payment for 32 GB
and 64GB iPhone 5s models respectively however now it is being said that no
down payment is required for any of the iphone models. There is no hidden cost and the rates
are all included. But yes, you will have to pay for international calls and
roaming. Sounds good; as you need not to pay for national roaming, 3G usages,
STD and local calls. So check yourself if you are the one who fits with these
situations. This may be an attractive choice for you.
This war of
prices may be further intensified as Airtel also offering the same sets but
there is no offer like Reliance as such at the moment however, they have
offered to relax in some rental charges of phones.
The most attractive features
seems it’s weight and thinness. At a weight of just 112 gms
and around 2/3 of a centimeter (7.6 mm precisely), it has the capability
to creat wonders. Most of the time you even don’t notice you have a phone in your
pocket.

As the iphone makers say
that they have taken touch to new heights, that’s correct. It is an experience
of it’s kind. They have taken the touch to the extent today that it recognises
you by your fingerprint identity. Unlocking the phone is no more a hectic
exercise. Now no need to get trapped in
those key locks, patterns etc. I don’t even need to remember my password. Often
wonder how technology has groomed to the limit when the capacitive sensors read
the finger prints and the inbuilt software calculates that it is you who is the
owner of this beauty.
I wondered how they
are going to do with the battery issue considering that it is just 112 gm in
weight and with such thin body. Company says that they have used 64-bitarchitecture with a A7 chip for taking care of the energy requirement of this
phone. To say the least; with this chip, the processing speed has just doubled
so as to consume the lesser battery and giving it more life. Apart from that
there are some of the facilities in the phone where the batteries don’t get
used directly giving it a longer life.
These days camera technology has enhanced
leap and bound. Nokia lumia is here with their (never before heard) 41MP cameras.
In iphone 5, though the front camera is just 8 MP but we know that at 8 MP of any
camera gives good photos with great depth. To increase the quality of the picture within this
megapixel range, iphone have enhanced sensors from previous versions of iphones
and incresed the aperture for better light receiption by sensors.
So the features seem good however, it is
an apple and it comes with a big price tag. It hurts to pay for that but that
pain gives you the right to say ‘I do have an iphone 5’.
